Turn left out of Hollow Lane and follow High Street through the village then turn right onto Footpath GL28
which crosses a tributry of the River Yar. At the end, turn left onto a lane which is Footpath GL46 along which The Stenbury Trail also runs. Continue along the lane to where it meets Footpath GL27 near Moor Farm. |

From the crossing with Footpath GL27 at Moor Farm, the route becomes a path as Footpath A49
which continues north for about 1 kilometer. Footpath A49 bears left and becomes a lane which is Footpath A22, crossing the River Yar. Footpath A22 joins the access road to Great Budbridge Manor. Turn right here, continuing as Footpath A22. |

The track which runs as Footpath A22 becomes Budbridge Lane and passes Little Budbridge Farm.
Continue along Budbridge Lane which crosses the former railway line by a bridge then becomes East Lane. Footpath A3 runs on the access road to The Lodge, but leaves to the left before reaching it. |

Remain on Footpath A3 which kinks left and right then continues north east for just under a kilometer.
On meeting a lane near Stickworth Lodge, turn right into the lane which is Footpath A2. The lane comes to the A3056 road at Horringford. Cross the road via the pedestrian traffic lights, follow the road to the right, crossing the River Yar. Pick up the former railway line on the left which is designated as Footpath A53 and runs past

Remain on the trackbed of the former railway which runs alongside the River Yar,
crossing it from right bank to the left opposite Heasley Manor Farm. The footpath eventually diverges from the river and crosses a tributary where it becomes Footpath NC8. Footpath NC8 terminates where it reaches The Shute at Langbridge. |
