From High Street, turn left into Bannock Road then take the second turning on the right into Slay Lane.
Follow Slay Lane, crossing the River Yar. The track turns right and ends to become Footpath NT104. The path continues ahead, becoming Footpath 105 then Footpath 102 before arriving at Southford Lane. Turn right into Southford Lane then leave to the left onto Footpath NT91. |

From Southford Lane, Footpath NT91 follows the River Yar northwards
Cross the lane by Ford Farm and continue northwards on Footpath NT93. Still following the River Yar, the path becomes Footpath GL17. Footpath GL17 then bears away from the river to reach Beacon Alley. |

Cross directly over Beacon Alley to pick up Footpath GL14a.
Just after the path joins a track, turn right along the track which is Footpath GL15 that runs to Beacon Alley. Continue ahead along Beacon Alley for a short distance then turn left into Bagwich Lane. A short distace along Bagwich Lane, turn right onto Footpath GL21 then take the right fork where the path splits. The path crosses the River Yar before arriving at Whitwell Road. Cross the road and continue on Footpath GL21. The path proceeds in a straight line eastwards over a hill to Church Hill. Turn left along Church Hill then just past Hollow Lane, turn right on Footpath GL62 past the church. The path joins Hollow Lane just before arriving at High Street, Godshill |
