Burrows Lane

Burrows lane where it leaves Coopers Lane.

Early Ordnance Survey maps show Burrows Lane going right to Edmonsham Road and no mention of Coopers Lane.

"What are you doing Dad ?"

"I'm taking these pictures for posterity son".

Looking north from outside number 12 "Halsdon".

The smuggler Gulliver used this lane on his route to Cranborne.

Looking up towards Burrows Farm with the original house before it was replaced.

There was also a pottery at this site, the last traces of which disappeared around this time.
