Industrial premises at Blackhill on the site of a former brickworks, a picture of which is on page 16 of Verwood Village Days.

The cars are parked where "The Fayrewood" would later be built.

A view of the works at Blackhill taken from the entrance to Sherwood Drive off Ringwood Road.

This was the location of the fire at the Preference Paints factory of which there is a picture on page 34 of Verwood Village Days.

Building work has started on the site of the Fayrewood public house.
