BRITISH RAIL

- Oil trains -

Class 33

Class 47

There were a variety of fuel oil trains that ran through Southampton, principally to and from Fawley refinery. However, there was also traffic to and from Hamble and Micheldever. Much of the traffic went out of the region but one that remained within was the ship bunkering fuel to
Weymouth Quay.
